Carly Sasha Hall-Scott (b. Philadelphia, PA) is an artist based in the Marin County, California.

Over two decades, from New York to San Francisco—I’ve created visual narratives for some of the world’s most recognizable names. My career has been defined by a bridge between strategic design, narrative spaces and raw making, collaborating with partners like Gap Inc., Turner Duckworth, IDEO, Sephora and Harvard University. While my background is rooted in the discipline of design thinking, my current practice is an intentional return to the hand.

From my studio in Fairfax, I focus on tactile exploration. I gravitate toward the speed and following nature watercolors and charcoal, finding energy in chasing natural forms across the page. Occasionally I step into projects where design and narrative meet, but my daily focus remains on the fluid, vibrant process of fine art—merging years of visual expertise with the organic unpredictability of the medium.

My worldview is deeply informed by kindness and connection—values shaped by building my family through both adoption and pregnancy. As a mom of two, I’ve navigated the complexities of ADHD and co-founded Square Peg Union, a social hub for neurodiverse families. I’m still an East Coast girl at heart: I value honesty and a well-timed bit of sarcasm. When I’m not in my Fairfax studio, you’ll find me on the trails —occasionally carrying a dog who refuses to walk.

Education: Rhode Island School of Design, ‘04 Bachelor of Fine Arts | Pennsylvania State University, General Studies
